On Tuesday 10-21-2008 The Mongols MC had 61 of their members arrested and charged with crimes such as, federal racketeering committing violent crimes (including murder), drug trafficking, weapons offenses and money laundering.  The same day U.S. Atty. Thomas P. O’Brien stood in front of 24 of the club member’s bikes and promised to go after more then just their bikes.  He also said “We’re going after their very identity,” stating he would try to take control of the trademarked “Mongols” name and prevent them from wearing it.

Tuesday’s raid in Southern California, Nevada, Oregon, Colorado, Washington and Ohio involved 1,000 federal agents and police officers.  Reports also say that undercover agents in an operation called “Black Rain” infiltrated the Mongols over the past several years.

Confederate C120 Renaissance Fighter

Welcome to the SCI-FI channel!  Take a look at this way cool super bad MOFO.  Confederate is only making 45 of these bad boys and you can have one for only $110,000. This is one of the first bikes I have seen that actually looks like it’s worth the price (not that I have that kind of bread).  The thing just looks like some acid trip CAD drawing brought to life.  That’s a good thing!

The bike is built using components crafted from aircraft billet aluminum, carbon fiber, and high grade titanium which wraps around a 45 degree radial twin that can hit a top speed of 190 miles per hour.  Yep you read right 190MPH!

If you have ever seen a Confederate motorcycle you know by just looking at one that they mean serious business.  These are not one of those parts off the shelf Franken-Bikes even though they look like monsters!  These bikes get a LOT of attention so if you’re not a “look at ME” type this bike is NOT for you!  But if you are and you can swing the price go for it!  Just stop by and let me take it for a spin.  I’ve got PBR in the garage to barter with.

Super Model Marisa Miller-Harley Muscle

Yes it is folks.  Harley Davidson is putting the beauty back on the bike.  Most corperations have all but forgot selling power of a geourgous woman desplaying their product.  It seems like only yesturday day when I was working in a garage and the Snap-On truck would pull in mid November with a whole stack of Pin Up calendars for his customers.  Man I miss those! That was a long time ago and companies have all but shunned the practice of Pin Up sales campaigns.  Well maybe not.  Harley Davidson has hired supermodel Marisa Miller for the V-Rod muscle ad campaign. Ok enough of my yapping here is a video!  Enjoy!

So I’m flipping threw the 5000 worthless channels I have on TV and for the most part there is nothing on.  I come across the 2nd Docu-Reality show from Ewan McGregor and his buddy Charley Boorman called “Long Way Down“  This time they coucoure Europe and Africa from north to south.  Now I have seen the 1st one they did titled “Long Way Round” (around the whole freaking world) and I must admit this one was on par maybe a little bit better then the last.  A little less crying (which is good) and they show us a bit more of the sights.  Africa is and will always be a place I want to see and doing it on the back of a motorcycle would be a dream come true.  Not everyone I spoke to about the show liked it as much as I did but hey you have to hand it to them, WOW what an adventure (just admit you’re jealous).  Both of the trips on BMW’s took them to places most of us poor trash dream of going to.  If by any chance one of you guys read this, “RIGHT ON” and if you’re ever in the Midwest look me up!  To to sum it up: If are you looking for some good Two Wheeled entertainment I don’t think you will be disapointed.
